Whether it’s getting the kids ready for school, trying to get a million things done before you head to work or just the struggle of actually being awake, if you’re not a morning person – breakfast can be one of the hardest meals to make time for during the day but also one of the most important!

We’ve put together some super easy peasy recipes that you can whip up the night before or quickly in the morning so you can start the day off right.

Blueberry, Avocado and Spinach Smoothie

Classic Avo on Toast

Use the other half of your avocado leftover from your smoothie to make a delish avocado on toast. Remember to sprinkle with a generous pinch of sea salt and some cracked pepper, spritz with lemon juice and garnish with some cut up baby tomatoes. Mmmmm, sounds like heaven to me.

Apple and Cinnamon Overnight Oats

One of my favourite things to make for early morning starts are overnight oats. Make them the night before, leave them in the fridge and grab them on your way out the door in the morning. You will need 1/3 cup plain coconut yoghurt, 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 2/3 cup unsweetened mylk of choice, 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flax meal, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, a grated apple with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Combine everything in a bowl and cover tightly with a WRAPPA and you’re all set for the morning!
